Fishermans smocks are as popular now as they were 100 years ago because of their simple design and comfort.
Hand made in Norfolk where the old Lowestoft fishermen and even farmers wore smocks for working in, they are still worn today by sailors, potters, gardeners and artists amongst others as comfortable workware.
Two handy pockets on the front are ideal just to rest your hands in or to contain your tools or maybe your pipe and matches. This is a larger than expected size allowance, as they are designed to be large, and worn over the top of thick fishermans jumpers and layers of clothing, as an over garment, to protect your clothing.
Made from a 100% cotton canvas they remain supple and strong for the life of the smock.
